[CONTAINS SPOILERS] Version 1.3.0 Notes


Since I don't think every player would download the new version only to check the Release Note in it, I'm leaving what changed in Version 1.3.0 here.

Fixes and Gameplay-Affecting Changes:

  • Hopefully improved Minotaur players' targeting.
    • Ideally they should choose targets randomly rather than focusing on one enemy. Not sure the fix is actually working.
  • If you have completed the Treasury puzzle, now you can progress even in forms which cannot open a door.
    • For example, it allows you to fight Guardian with a full-Dragon party.
  • Fixed a visual bug when you lose to Demon+Chimera when everyone is already a Slime.
  • Now _README.txt should show correct controls including Game Pad control.
  • Hopefully improved translation.
  • Added Event/TF List to EN version of SPOILER text files.

Balance Tweaks:

  • Party members now have higher M-Attack and M-Healing at higher levels.
    • Both values are unchanged at level 1, roughly +15% at level 30, +20% at level 99.
  • Offensive magics reworked.
    • Hero: Fireball now debuffs target's Defense and costs less MP.
    • Hero: Eruption has higher damage ratio and costs more MP.
    • Warrior: Icicle now debuffs Attack and M-Attack instead of Agility and Defense.
    • Magic User: Lightning IV now has 10% lower damage ratio.
  • Nerfed late-game healing outside Hero's Cure/Heal.
    • Warrior can no longer use Cure III.
    • Magic User can no longer use Cure II/III.
    • Elixir no longer buffs Max HP.
  • Buffed some buff skills so they're more viable.
    • Hero: Protect now buffs Max HP and no longer debuffs Attack. Increased MP cost.
    • Guardian player: Fortify now greatly buffs Max HP and applies Guard.
  • "Collar" items' effects are doubled. It's a complicated math, but you should see the intended effects 40%-ish more often.
  • Other minor changes I might have forgot.


Clarity and Minor Tweaks:

  • If you transfer a save from a previous version, it shows a message when a file is loaded.
  • Warrior's "Battle Cry" is renamed to "Reckless Advance". Effects unchanged.
    • Now it should be more obvious that he learns  a new skill rather than retaining a monster's skill.
  • Minotaur player's Battle Cry no longer draw aggro.
  • Now the Treasury puzzle can be completed by setting all switches to the same color (no longer have to set all to blue).
  • Added dialogues mentioning inability to cure Hero's Takadra form.
  • Mine Bee, Magic Flower, Fishfolk, Chimera and Snake now use overworld sprites from RPG Maker MV/MZ's official DLC.
